Wide Format Printing
Now we have two eight (8!) colour HP Z6100PS Designjet inkjet printers, both running at 2440 dpi, compared to 600 dpi max. for most plotters. Bright, vibrant, dense colours mean that, combined with our vastly superior backlit film, we produce the most dynamic Transit Shelter Ads in the market. Lesser products are dull and flat, with more see through, they pale in comparison in backlit viewing values at night, and they actually buckle and fold right in the case, while our product remains stiff and flat, for years if necessary. CBS Outdoor calls our TSA the best and easiest to handle.
Large Format Printing / Banners per square foot
We measure cost of large format printing by square footage. A poster that is 2x3 feet or 24x36 inches is 6 square feet, 10 copies of this totals 60 square feet. The main stock we use for posters is our heavy 50lb paper, preferred for most indoor uses, and perfectly suited for watercolour reproduction. Coated photo paper is used for actual photographic reproduction, installation and framing purposes. Backlit film is used for any translucent requirement, when water resistent lighting from behind is required. Finally, we offer scrim vinyl, good for banners hanging for long periods of time, outdoor or indoor, easily rolled up. We can add grommets for ease of display. Vinyl can be used as a parade marching banner, as we can sew this material, at slight extra cost, and add dowels top and bottom.
Specifications:
- Paper is good for indoor use, and outdoor use for up to 1 month. (maximum width 36")
- Laminating available at $2 per square foot.
- Mounting on FOAMCORE available at $6 per square foot.
- Mylar is good for backlit and outdoor use up to 4 months. (maximum width 36")
- Vinyl is good forever, as long as rolled up and stored properly. (maximum width 48")
