Proofing is an important part of your order if you are not confident with your file. Most customers choose not see a proof as this speeds up the production process, however, if you are not comfortable with this, we do have two levels of proofing, costing $5 or $10
When will you get a proof?
We will get back to you within one or two business days of your order, either with a proof or to report an issue that we have found that will impact results. Please contact us if you haven't heard from us within two business days.
Types of proofs:
• a PDF proof (via email, costing $5 each)
• a printed color proof (for pickup or via your courier, costing $10 each)
Note that a PDF screen proof is not suitable for color reference, since the colors vary from screen to screen.
Although not a contract proof, a printed color proof will give you a close approximation of the colors on the final product. If you are printing digitally the hard copy proof will be a perfect match for the final product (within 2% due to humidity changes), as all colour proofs are done on the digital 800 colorpress.
Provide a hard copy sample or a JPEG/JPG (CMYK) of your file for our reference. Note that a PDF file is not suitable for color reference. We will not be held responsible for the colors if you have not asked for a printed color proof or if you have not provided a color sample for our reference. We may not be able to replicate a supplied proof as we only run calibrated colour so our proof would represent the deviation that would have to be rectified by the creator of the file. We will not change colours at this end, we can lighten and darken only.
*Important information about color
A color proof is not a match proof, but it will give you an approximation of what your final product will look like (90% - 95% within the color parameters for offset printed products). A reasonable variation in color between original materials, proofs and the completed order will constitute an acceptable delivery. We will reproduce colors as closely as possible, but we cannot guarantee exact color matches.

Every change you ask us to make generates a new proof. Please communicate any changes by email, or by replying to the sender of the message - we do not accept any verbal changes.
